Professional coaching
Leadership and professional life can be isolating — especially when you are the one everyone else leans on. Professional coaching with me offers a confidential, forward-focused space to think clearly, lead with confidence, and build a way of working that does not cost you your wellbeing.
Does this sound familiar?
- Are you responsible for other people’s wellbeing — but have nowhere to think about your own?
- Has a promotion, new role, or increased responsibility left you questioning whether you are cut out for it?
- Do you absorb everyone else's problems at work and have nothing left at the end of the day?
- Are you navigating difficult conversations, conflict, or performance issues and want to handle them better?
- Do you know what you should do — but struggle to follow through or set boundaries?
- Has burnout, cynicism, or overwhelm crept in — and you need to find your footing again?
Coaching or counselling — what is the difference?
Counselling tends to focus on emotional healing — understanding what has happened, how it affects you, and working through it at depth. Coaching is more forward-focused: clarifying where you are, where you want to be, and what is getting in the way. There is overlap — many professionals benefit from both at different times — and we can talk honestly about which approach fits your situation in a free consultation.
Who I coach
- Senior leaders, managers, and team leads in education and the public sector.
- Headteachers, deputies, SENDCOs, pastoral leads, and school-based senior staff.
- Professionals stepping into new responsibility — or considering whether to step up.
- People returning after burnout, maternity leave, or a difficult period at work.
- Anyone who carries the emotional weight of other people's needs and wants a clearer way forward.
What we can work on
- Leadership presence, confidence, and decision-making under pressure.
- Difficult conversations — with staff, parents, colleagues, or senior leaders.
- Boundaries, delegation, and sustainable ways of working.
- Managing teams through change, conflict, or challenging circumstances.
- Understanding your own patterns — what drives your reactions and where you get stuck.
- Building a professional identity that feels authentic, not performative.
- Navigating education and public sector leadership — accountability, change, and pressure from every direction.
Why coach with Tash?
I bring more than twenty-five years in education — supporting staff and leaders through some of the most demanding situations schools and the public sector face. I understand safeguarding pressure, difficult conversations, and what it feels like to hold responsibility when the system around you is stretched. I am also a BACP-registered counsellor (BA Hons Integrative Counselling), which means coaching conversations are grounded in genuine psychological insight — not generic motivational talk.
How sessions work
Coaching sessions are confidential, practical, and led by you. We begin with a free 15-minute consultation to talk through what you need and whether coaching is the right fit. Sessions are typically 50 minutes, in person in Wednesbury (WS10) or online. Fees are discussed openly at consultation — there is no pressure to commit before you feel ready.
