Tash Glover, BACP-registered counsellor

Tash Glover

BACP-registered integrative counsellor · BA (Hons) Integrative Counselling

If life has knocked you off balance, you deserve a calm space to talk — without judgement. I offer integrative counselling in Wednesbury: you set the pace, and I walk alongside you with warmth and honesty.

For more than twenty-five years I have supported children, parents, and families through education and therapeutic work — including time with organisations such as Kaleidoscope and Murray Hall. The Phoenix symbolises renewal — at Phoenix Renewed, many clients find their footing again step by step.

I look forward to hearing from you,
Tash

The person behind the practice

Meet Tash Glover

I am a wife, a mother of four, and someone who understands how demanding family life can be. For more than twenty-five years I have worked in education as a therapeutic mentor — supporting children, parents, and families through loss, change, anxiety, and conflict. That experience shapes how I work today: calmly, without judgement, and always with you at the centre.

I hold a BA (Hons) in Integrative Counselling, am BACP registered (00972506), and a member of the NCPS (NCS22-02212). Clients often tell me they feel at ease quickly — approachable and understanding — that the therapy room feels like a warm hug, and that they finally have space to be heard. Workplace coaching is a separate service and is not currently promoted on this site.

When you work with Phoenix Renewed, you work with me — not a rotating team. That continuity matters, especially when you are sharing something deeply personal.

Why choose us

Why Phoenix Renewed?

The Black Country deserves counselling that feels human — not clinical. Here is what sets Phoenix apart when you are choosing where to turn.

  • One counsellor, one relationship

Every session is with Tash. You are not passed between practitioners or lost in a large centre — you build trust with the same person throughout.

  • A private, welcoming room

Sessions take place in a calm, cosy therapy space in Wednesbury — a dedicated retreat away from everyday noise, with free parking nearby.

  • 20 years supporting families

Long experience in education and family work means Tash understands parenting pressures, school issues, bereavement, and the ripple effects on everyone at home.

  • Integrative, led by you

You set the pace. Person-centred warmth is at the heart of the work, with CBT, mindfulness, and solution-focused tools when they help — never a one-size-fits-all formula.

  • Approachable and non-judgemental

Clients often say Tash is easy to talk to and genuinely present — a calm space where you can be yourself without feeling judged.

  • Accredited and accountable

BACP and NCPS membership mean professional standards, ethical practice, and ongoing development you can rely on.

  • Try before you commit

A free 15-minute phone consultation lets you ask questions and see whether counselling feels right — with no pressure to book.

How we work together

My approach to counselling

My style is integrative: grounded in person-centred counselling — warm, non-judgemental, and led by you — with CBT, mindfulness, and solution-focused approaches woven in when they feel useful. You are the expert on your own life; given honesty, empathy, and acceptance, many people grow in self-awareness and confidence.

I work affirmingly with neurodivergent clients, including many people exploring autism and ADHD. The core conditions I offer are:

  • Unconditional positive regard (UPR)

Accepting and valuing you, without judgement, exactly as you are in each session.

  • Congruence

Honesty and transparency in how I experience you and your world — a grounded, real presence.

  • Empathic understanding

Seeing your viewpoint as closely as I can — as if I were walking beside you in it.

Counselling is not about me fixing your life for you — it is about creating space to hear yourself clearly, build on your strengths, and find your own way forward. I will not judge what you bring; you lead the session.

A guardian angel

Tash is so lovely and welcoming and instantly put me at ease. Before I saw Tash I could not see a future in front of me. Tash showed me the light and helped to guide me through my darkest hours. She showed me the tools I needed to help myself and my family and myself are so grateful to her.

I 100% recommend anyone in seeing Tash, she’s helped me deal with my grief, depression, abuse and neglect. Thank you so much Tash, you are literally living proof of a guardian angel x

She has helped me find me, and given me so much perspective that I needed to see through my problems. I couldn’t be more grateful for her and I highly recommended her services!
